The Wheel of Time Is Rolling into 2024!

2024 True Buddha School prays for world peace.
May love and peace embrace the world.
May 2024 unfold in a shower of blessings.

The 2024 global prayer initiative organized by the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) has garnered widespread response, attracting numerous enthusiastic registrations from many cultivation venues and Dharma propagation personnel. This event is set to commence as we approach 2024, kicking off in New Zealand on the evening of December 31, 2023 at 11:30 PM. Recitation of the Disaster Relief Mantra will commence precisely at midnight on New Year's Day 2024 in New Zealand.

Coincidentally, during the course of the event, True Buddha School Lineage Root Guru, HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng is scheduled to preside over a Kalachakra Homa Ceremony at Rainbow Temple. As Grandmaster previously discoursed, “Kalachakra symbolizes the giant wheel of time, traversing everything, fully eradicating afflictions and completely purifying karmic hindrances. This purification enables one to travel to a pure buddha land and ultimately, attain Buddhahood. In other words, the rotation of the colossal wheel of time annihilates afflictions and karmic hindrances, leading to the realization of emptiness and the attainment of Buddhahood. This is the true meaning of Kalachakra”.

The 2024 global prayer initiative will center around Grandmaster’s turning of the Kalachakra time wheel while he presides over the Kalachakra Homa Ceremony. The homa ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023 3:00-5:00 PM Seattle time (Monday, Jan. 1, 2024 7:00-9:00 AM Taiwan time).

With the profound blessing power of Living Buddha Lian-sheng, participants will silently meditate and collectively pray for world peace. We pray that as the colossal wheel of time turns, it will annihilate the afflictions and obstacles of sentient beings and purify departed souls so they will be liberated.

TBF encourages participants to create wish cards and display them on the screen during the mantra recitation and lamp-lighting session. (See the attached image for a wish card template.)

In addition to the participation of local cultivation venues, TBF welcomes all Dharma propagation personnel to join the Zoom session in their own name, allowing the light of each lamp to illuminate the world!
