Time: On December 31, 2023, at 11:30PM (New Zealand time), the world stands ready to enter 2024

The tears shed by Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva transformed into White Tara and Green Tara. The tears of Dharma King Lian-sheng transformed into the bodhicitta of True Buddha School (TBS) disciples, who will wholeheartedly pray to buddhas and bodhisattvas for the salvation of sentient beings suffering in this world.

As we prepare to enter 2024, let’s bring hope and peace to the world through mantras and light. May this wonderfulness continuously fill 2024, wishing the Earth a peaceful year.

When will humanity’s disasters come to an end? The Dharma King weeps compassionately for the six realms, praying that all sentient beings will soon be free from suffering and afflictions.

“When will this world be liberated from the scourge of war?”
In his Dharma discourse on November 25, Grandmaster mentioned that he visited Palestine in his Dharma body, and was deeply saddened by the misery caused by the war and its disastrous aftermath. Grandmaster couldn’t hide his grief. His tears flowed uncontrollably for the devastated neighborhoods, the displaced victims, and the children who were left without treatment for their injuries

In response to Grandmaster’s heartfelt compassion for sentient beings, the True Buddha Foundation has launched a global prayer initiative. On December 31, 2023, at 11:30PM New Zealand time (7:30PM Taiwan time), Dharma propagation personnel, cultivation venues, and all disciples are invited to light a blessing lamp and recite the Disaster Relief Mantra. We offer our prayers for world peace, the salvation of suffering sentient beings, the deliverance of wandering spirits, the eradication of disasters caused by earth, water, fire, and wind, and the successful accomplishment of disaster relief efforts.

Event Mode:
Light a lamp and make a wish
Cultivation venues: Set up a lamp lighting area with wish cards at your venue.
Individuals: Set up a lamp lighting area with wish cards at home.
During the event, collectively light lamps and participate in mantra recitation.

Disaster Relief Mantra:
"Ta-chi-zha-zha-la。ta-chi-lu-lou-li。 ma-he-lu-lou-li。a-la-mo-la。duo-la。so-ha."

As soon as mantra recitation begins, participants may commence lighting lamps on the TBSN website. The link for this activity will be announced at a later date.

Note: Recitation of the Disaster Relief Mantra requires empowerment. Re-empowerment is not required for those who have already received remote empowerment.
