Grandmaster Appoints Eight Ayushmats of the Ayushmat Group of the True Buddha Dharmadhara House

HH Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng has appointed eight senior and outstanding masters as the True Buddha School’s first Ayushmats of the Ayushmat Group of the True Buddha Dharmadhara House (TBDH). The appointments, and TBDH and Ayushmat Group operations will formally commence on September 1, 2021.
Due to the pandemic, the Ayushmats’ swearing-in ceremony will be held during the 2022 Spring Ceremony, and Ayushmats will receive their appointment certificates and uniforms from Grandmaster during the ceremony.

The eight Ayushmats are:
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianhua Changzhi (常智)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianhua Changren (常仁)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianman (蓮滿)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianxiong (蓮雄)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianzhe (蓮哲)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianzai (蓮栽)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianseng (蓮僧)
Ayushmat Master Shi Lianchuan (蓮傳)

The responsibilities of TBDH Ayushmats are as follows:
To uphold the lineage of Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng and the True Buddha School (TBS), strictly abide by all precepts, and be exemplary role models within TBS. To act in concert with TBDH and establish TBDH administrative operations, maintain continuity of the True Buddha Dharma system, promote the authentic Buddhadharma, and guide sentient beings with correct wisdom and view to attain Buddhahood. To assist in the education and training of TBS rinpoches and talented Dharma propagation personnel, cooperate with the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) in the management of the TBS community’s discipline and order, and serve as TBS Dharma affairs advisors and actively assist as required.

Ayushmat is a lifetime appointment, and they should be respectfully addressed as “Ayushmat” on all occasions and in TBS publications. In addition, at TBS ceremonies and all other formal occasions, including TBF conferences, Ayushmats should always be seated in honorary seating designated for Ayushmats. TBS cultivation venues and organizations are respectfully asked to follow this guidance.

The operations of the Ayushmat Group of the TBDH are in accordance with regulations set out in the 2021 True Buddha Foundation Bylaws, Chapter 12, clause 1, Ayushmat Group.
