Will a Disciple Still Receive the Same Blessing Power from Grandmaster when Watching a Replay of a Ceremony?

Q1-1: I pay homage to the Root Guru and Amitabha Buddha, and wish Grandmaster healthy, longevity, staying long in the world, and forever turning the wheel of Dharma. I would like to ask Grandmaster two questions: 1. If a disciple cannot participate in a live webcast group cultivation or ceremony, will the disciple still receive the same blessing power from Grandmaster when watching the replay later?

A1-1: Will Grandmaster’s blessing be the same when one watches the replay? Of course, it will! We cannot guarantee that everyone is available to attend the live ceremony; maybe one is on a plane, is traveling, or has other matters to take care of, because everyone’s time is different. The time I am discussing here is different from the time in other places. Therefore, when you watch the replay, you will receive the same blessing, the same strength of blessing.  Even if it is one year later when you watch the replay, you will still receive the same blessing power. This applies even after Grandmaster passes away; one will still receive the blessing when watching the replay after my death.

Q1-2: For an unmarried couple, if the female becomes pregnant, and the couple jointly decided with abortion, is the male equally responsible for the sin as the female? We often hear of females being haunted by the spirit of their aborted baby, and it is very rare to hear this situation applies to males. Will the aborted baby spirit disturb their fathers as well? Is there anything the couple can do to make up for this mistake? How can they help their aborted baby spirit, and reduce the karma of their sin? Thank you for answering my questions. Om, gu-ru, lian-sheng, sid-dhi, hum.

A1-2: I believe there is equality between men and women in today’s time. No matter if you are male or female, we are equal. If the father did not make the decision, the abortion would not happen. If the mother did not make the decision, the abortion would not happen either. Therefore, both the mother and father are held equally responsible. Regarding your question about why only women are heard to be haunted by their aborted baby spirit, but it being rare to hear this situation occurring to men, why? Let me tell you a joke: because now women are powerful, they are more powerful than men… Actually, I cannot explain like this (Grandmaster laughed). Grandmaster still believes there is equality between men and women.

As to whether males will also be haunted by their aborted baby spirit? The answer is the same. One point to be aware of: I remember that in Taiwan, when a woman requests an abortion, the father must also sign the consent form. Otherwise, after the procedure, the doctor may be sued by the father. What if the father does not agree to an abortion? Sometimes abortion is between a married couple. The wife wants to abort the baby, but not the husband. When this happens, whom should the doctor listen to?

Therefore, the answer to this question is that males are also haunted by their aborted baby spirit, but the fathers usually do not share it with others. They actually are also disturbed by the spirit. It is equal, men and women.

“How to make up for their mistakes?” You should make offerings to the spirits and deliver them. One should also vow. In True Buddha School, there are many methods to help reduce the karma for this. This, of course, is killing. It is important to recognize that this kind of abortion is considered as killing. Therefore, one must eradicate this bad karma. One may perform the Smoke Offering Practice to reduce the karma. Making smoke offerings is one way to eliminate the karma because the aborted baby spirit belongs to one’s karmic creditors.

Just like today, whenever we practice, we always invite the father’s relatives, mother’s relatives, benefactors and teachers in the back, and karmic creditors in front. The aborted baby spirit, in fact, is among the karmic creditors. Hence, when cultivating, one should invite karmic creditors to practice together. It means that when practicing, one who has aborted a baby should visualize the spirit as one of the karmic creditors. One can also register the spirit for the deliverance ceremonies, and make offerings to the spirit. The Rainbow Temple provides aborted baby spirit services. One can register one’s spirit for the offering service. This answers the questions of Lianhua Su Liping.
