        All around the world, countries are ravaged by the Covid-19 pandemic, and Canada has also been widely affected. With the situation becoming more severe each day, many are infected by the virus and end up receiving serious medical treatment in hospitals, thus we can easily imagine the immense pressure faced by medical staff as well as their heavy workload.

        The abbot of Jing Yin Temple,Master Lian Hung (蓮雄上師), and fellow dharma siblings feel deeply for the situation, and in addition to saluting all medical workers and health heroes combating Covid-19 around the world with the highest respect, after hearing about serious shortages of personal protective equipment for front-line healthcare workers, Jing Yin Temple responded to this urgent need by specially purchasing 100,000 masks, to donate to front-line healthcare workers for free.
